The Salumificio La Rocca, throughout its history, has undergone a considerable boost in the growth of production when it has decided to collaborate with the GDS (the Large Specialized Distribution). In fact, since the 1970s, it has been developed a line of cured meats, following the increasingly specific indications of the most important distribution chains.
The goal, achieved with great determination, was to adapt the genuineness characteristics of its products to a format more suited with the demands of the large markets for the sale of free service and branded delicatessens. Standardize formats, shelf-life, packaging, usability, all aspects required by consumers of supermarkets and shopping centers, always maintaining a high-quality standard, respecting the dictates of tradition. This is how the classic salami of our production were born.
