Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September 2022, the great event "PIACENZA E' UN MARE DI SAPORI" returns, the food and wine event dedicated to the protected products of the territory promoted by the Consortium for the Protection of PDO Piacentini Salami and the Consorzio Salumi Tipici Piacentini
 
The initiatives will be held under the arcades of Palazzo Gotico, where interactive workshops, show cooking, AperiDOP Piacentino, the important event of 'Tramonto DiVino' will frame the tastings of the PDO and PGI agri-food products of Emilia-Romagna accompanied by the best wines regional and Piacenza.
 
The appointment, which is part of the activities that the Consorzio Salumi DOP Piacentini has put in place for the enhancement of the historical excellence of Piacenza, the only city in Europe to be able to boast three DOPs in the delicatessen sector, also arises from the collaboration of the promoting bodies with all the Consortia for the Protection of typical food & wine products of Emilia-Romagna with as many as 44 DOP and IGP products.
 
Saturday 24 September at 7 pm all Piacenza evening.
 
"AperiDOP Piacentino" where the protagonists will be the PDO Piacentini cured meats (Piacentina Cup, Piacentino Salame, Piacentina Bacon) served with the Piacenza Giardiniera, together with another extraordinary product of our territories the "Grana Padano DOP" embellished with Piacenza honey, the all accompanied by Piacenza biscuits.
 
Daniele Persegani, RAI 1 TV chef and chef Paco Zanobini will propose intriguing cooking shows of how they interpret the Piacenza Aperitif. The master ice cream maker Mil Sabores will propose his creations on the theme. A careful selection of wines from the Piacenza hills will complete the Piacenza AperiDOP. Daniele Ronda will brighten the evening with his concert at 21.30.
 
Sunday 25 September at 7.30 pm  Piacenza stage of “Tramonto DiVino: the protagonists of the evening are the great Protected products of the Emilia-Romagna Region. The star at the kitchen of the 'starred dinner' was chef Isa Mazzocchi (La Palta restaurant in Bilegno Borgonovo Valtidone, winner of the Michelin Chef Woman 2021 Award) in charge of showcasing the certified products of regional gastronomy.
 
During the evening the chef together with Carla Brigliadori, cooking teacher at Casa Artusi, will be the protagonist of a cooking show that will contribute to the narration of three of her interpretations: Come una bomba di Riso del Delta del Po Igp with Bertina pumpkin, Coppa Piacentina DOP and Porcini mushrooms of Borgotaro IGP; Artusiana Braciolina with PGI Romagna Shallot, capers, anchovies, tomato, olives, Oil Evo di Brisighella DOP and Potato di Bologna DOP (Recipe 309 "The Art of Eating Well" by Pellegrino Artusi); Pears of Emilia Romagna PGI soup with Squacquerone di Romagna PDO and meringue with aromatic herbs.
 
Entrée with the great pure products of the Emilia -Romagna Region, a generous tasting of certified products starting with Salumi Piacentini PDO, continuing with the main PDO and PGI. In combination with the great regional wines contained in the 'Emilia-Romagna to Drink and to Eat' guide, told by the sommeliers of Ais Emilia and Romagna with service by the glass on personalized wine cards.
 
To animate the starred dinner there will also be a musical show dedicated to the 44 PDOs and PGIs of Emilia-Romagna: that of the singer-songwriter Marco Ligabue and the TV presenter and author Andrea Barbi, protagonists of "E-Risalutami tuo brother: music and stories Emiliano-Romagnoli ”, a fresh and ironic show that mixes rock, laughter, but also the flavor of Gutturnio, Coppa Piacentina and Piadina Romagnola.
